What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name or nickname and email address, or the identifier Apple or Google provide if you sign in with them.
- Your pairing: which account you are paired with.
- Your city or time zone: the place you choose, so we can show the right time. We do not collect your precise location.
- Things you add: answers to nightly questions, kept and sent cards, how close you feel, visit dates and checklists, and your shared plan.
- Messages to us: if you contact support.
Information collected automatically
- Device and app data: device type, operating system, app version, a push notification token, and crash reports.
- Usage data: [which features are used, if you add analytics — remove this line if not].
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation of your plan and its status, but never your card details.
What your partner sees
Wavelength is built for two. Once you pair, your partner can see your chosen city and local time, the waves you send, your answers once they have answered too, how close you feel if you share it, cards you send them, visit details and your shared plan. Disconnecting removes this sharing for future activity.
